Grants and Contracts Manager

About the RoleCommunities for Recovery is seeking a highly skilled Grants and Contract Manager to oversee our grants, contracts, programs, and partnerships, ensuring compliance with legal standards and funding requirements. This position is essential for sustaining our organization’s commitment to providing recovery-oriented, peer-based services.
Key Responsibilities
Policy Development: Partner with leadership to draft, review, and update program policies to ensure compliance and accreditation.
Grant Administration: Oversee grant budgets, evaluations, and compliance.
Financial Oversight: Collaborate with finance to ensure timely, accurate grant billing and reporting.
Ancillary Support Management: Purchase and track resources, including incentives and assistance for housing, utilities, and travel.
Data & Performance Monitoring: Maintain accurate databases and documentation, providing insights into program goals and performance.
Collaboration: Work with program staff on data collection and grant activities.
External Relations: Build effective relationships with community partners, funders, and government representatives.
Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and data management skills.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
Experience: Familiarity with recovery-oriented services, harm reduction, and peer-based models.
Preferred Certifications: Texas Driver’s License, Texas Recovery Support Peer Specialist, or similar credentials.
Working Conditions
Work in office and community settings, with occasional evening/weekend hours.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and travel locally.
